Rocket City Equipment Sales is a division of Rocket City Rental LLC, and operates in four locations in North Alabama. The Birdwell family purchased Robin Rents in 2003, and now manages a large rental fleet while buying and selling equipment in the area. The owner Ronny Birdwell, has 48 years of experience in the equipment industry. Mr. Birdwell is a qualified mechanic, and understands that proper maintenance and constant refreshing of the fleet are key components to the rental business. He has worked as a representative, both past and present, for companies such as Multiquip, Tsurumi, ASV, and many more. We are THE authorized Hilti Distributor in North Alabama, as well as being an authorized service center for Multiquip and many other brands.

With over 100 years of equipment experience and an emphasis on customer service, we offer the highest quality equipment with names like Nifty, Genie, Skyjack, Toro, and John Deere. Robin Rents also sells and services other trusted brands like Marshalltown, Northwest Instruments, Norton Abrasives, Crick, Topcon and Makita.

Rocket City Equipment Sales has four locations throughout North Alabama. The South Parkway location is conveniently located near Redstone Arsenal, UAH, Boeing, Von Braun Civic Center, Huntsville Hospital, Monte Sano State Park and the City of Huntsville at 3605 Memorial Parkway SW just north of Airport Road in Huntsville. The North Parkway store is located near Alabama A&M, Chase Industrial Park, Vulcan Materials, Oakwood University, Blake Bottom Industrial Park, Across the Pond, City of Meridianville, City of Hazel Green, City of Fayetteville, just north of Wilson Lumber at 5024 Meridian Street North, Huntsville, Alabama. These two stores are located in the heart of the Aerospace and Technology Corridor in the Rocket City.

The Madison and Limestone County location opened in 2006. It’s conveniently located near the Huntsville International Airport, Jetport Municipal Golf Course, Jetplex Industrial Park, Bridge Street Town Center, City of Madison, Toney AL, Harvest AL, Madison County, City of Athens, Browns Ferry Nuclear Power Plant, Athens State University, Elkmont AL, Ardmore AL, Ardmore TN, and Mooresville AL. The highway 72 store is located at 29450 US Highway 72, Madison, AL, just west of County Line Road serving both the Limestone County and Madison City areas.

Our newest location opened in August of 2016 and serves the Decatur, Al area. Located at 2024 Veterans Dr. Decatur, Al 35601. It is centrally located to the City of Decatur, City of Priceville, City of Moulton, and City of Hartselle, Calhoun Community College, Serving Hexcel, Diaken Ascend, and 3M, and other industrial plants in North Alabama.
